Some color palettes whisper. This one shouted, in the best possible way. For this styled shoot at Venue 44, we built a whole day around a bright summer sorbet palette, and the result was one of the most fun sets I have ever photographed.

Venue 44 gave us the perfect blank canvas. Clean lines, open light, and space that let every pop of color do the talking. It is the kind of venue that disappears just enough to let your vision take center stage, which made it ideal for a shoot built entirely around color.

Think citrus orange, hot pink, and pops of lemon yellow woven through the florals, the table setting, and the little details most people would never think to coordinate. Nothing about it felt matchy or overdone. It felt fresh, a little playful, and completely intentional.

This is exactly the kind of shoot I dream about when a couple tells me they want their wedding to feel like them instead of a copy of someone else's Pinterest board. Bold color does not have to mean chaos. It can still feel timeless, elevated, and full of joy.
